Bleed American
8.2/10
This album is a classic so I don’t feel as if I need to add too much to this topic, released in 2001, this album even pre-dates my existence. As I am sure a lot of other people did, I grew up with songs from this album being played all around me, it holds classis songs from the rock world like “Bleed American” which I heard constantly, and “The Middle“, which I am convinced that most people on Earth know.
This album is great, seriously, I can’t pick many faults in it other than it starts off really strong so that the later tracks kind of get swallowed up by the sheer power of the first 6 tunes. Besides that, I love it, I have this album on quite frequently during the summer and intend to continue doing so for as long as I am still hanging around.
I consider this to be kind of entry level for anyone looking to get the groundworks of rock, it is just one of those cool foundational albums that most people know and is pretty enjoyable to listen to all the way through. Overall, it’s great and I can’t wait to hear some of the newer work that Jimmy Eat World have done.
